Who
I’m Hannah, a freelance creative based in the beautiful Cotswolds, UK. My work is bold, vibrant, and full of life. When you view my work, you’ll find an explosion of colour, thoughtful messaging and texture that reflects the way my mind works (thanks to ADHD!). Every piece I create is layered with hidden details and playful energy, inviting people to look closer and get lost in the chaos.
I started out as a digital illustrator, working on everything from publications to social media and workshops. But when the 2020 pandemic hit, everything changed. In the midst of all the uncertainty, I reconnected with painting by hand. It became my escape, a way to process my thoughts and emotions.
Since 2022, I’ve fully embraced that passion, focusing on abstract paintings, large-scale murals, and playful portraits. Now, my art is all about capturing movement, emotion, and the sheer joy of creating.
Why
Emotional and mental wellbeing are the key motivators for the work that I do. As a neurodivergent individual, navigating the world has always been a little tricky. Making sense of my personal journey through creativity has helped me find peace and balance in the chaos. I take what I have learnt and package it in colourful works as a means to tell a story and be of service to others in similar situations.
My enduring hope is that the work that I do can help relieve pain in another, through mutual understanding of a shared experience.
Join me on this visual adventure as I bring emotions to life on recycled surfaces, offering a glimpse into the beauty that emerges from embracing the creative chaos within.
