Hope Over Hopelessness
Hope Over Hopelessness

Medium: Acrylic and homemade texture pastes on recycled canvas in a solid wood, bespoke floating frame.
This abstract painting was lovingly created to capture some of the darker days I endured as a child facing extreme bullying.
How I found the strength to keep going and to see the light at the end of it all. Choosing hope over hopelessness.
This was a very emotional painting for me as the feeling of loneliness and isolation was unbearable. Bringing that back up was painful but necessary to truly capture the life path I saw ahead of me during that time.
This is a reminder to myself that there are always better days ahead.
