This painting has turned into a representation of a loving relationship to me.

All relationships have their ups and downs, but it's the solid knowledge you have a stable foundation to work from that makes it all worth it (IMO).

The darker, difficult side is also the greener side to represent growth. Our hardest moments often give us the biggest lessons

The warm pink side is full of playful shapes and orange tones to signify joy and intimacy.

The gold leaf throughout helps tie both sides together in a continuous circle of trust (the gold leaf is also around the frame too).
