One of a kind abstract painting, inspired by the calmness of being in the ocean. Similar to the peacefulness of meditating, or the yoga relaxation method of shavasana, being in the ocean is weightless and quietens down the noise visually and audibly.

Medium: Acrylic and homemade texture paste on recycled board.

This was originally a painting and frame by my Great Uncle Ken, November 1992. The board was damaged and due to be thrown out when he passed on. I rescued it and saved it for the last decade to finally add my own work to the board this year (2023) once I’d fixed it.
